Job Functions: Facilitate classroom training such as new-hire orientation and guest service training Perform or facilitate training room set up including moving furniture and cleaning room Assemble program advertising, leaders and participants guides, pre-work/follow-up assignments and assessments Create and maintain attendance and class tracking reports Ensure training materials are up-to-date and utilized effectively Role model and provide AAA Five Diamond-level service to guests and residents when in guest areas Role model and provide CityCenter service standards when providing internal guest service by greeting; responding to questions, inquiries and requests; offering proactive service steps such as offering assistance or a beverage; thanking?guests; and inviting them to return Work with various software applications to maintain training tracking, improve training participation, assess program effectiveness Stuff envelopes and assemble mailers for program promotion, participant pre-work or post-course assessments Perform clerical duties including typing, answering telephones, faxing and copying Request office materials and training supplies as needed Coach employees, trainers and managers regarding performance issues and professional development when necessary Travel to sister properties to participant in events, meetings or training Organize tasks and take meaningful action in solving practical problems Complete additional projects, as needed and appropriate Other related duties as necessary Qualifications: Required: At least six months of training experience At least one year of guest service experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong training, coaching and facilitation skills Ability to work varying schedules to meet business needs Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, and employees Ability to demonstrate independence in work-related projects Strong project management skills and decision-making while managing multiple priorities Strong analytical and creative thinking skills Ability to maintain confidential information Professional appearance and demeanor Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, or Education Proficiency or fluency in another language reflecting the diversity of our employees and guests Location: ARIA Resort & Casino Compensation: TBD at time of interview Principals only.
