JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary: Performs clerical and administrative support to the human resources department. Provides support for all aspects of human resources including but not limited to recruitment/employment, employee and labor relations, worker’s compensation, benefits, compensation, training and development, HRIS, compliance and shared services. Essential Functions: • Handles incoming calls on multi-phone line • Maintains and orders all office supplies • Services employees at the front counter as well as applicants applying for a job • Receives incoming mail/fax and distributes them appropriately • Prints current and new employee ID badges • Maintains human resources bulletin boards including job boards, birthday boards and announcement boards • Ensures that the human resources forms are stocked at all locations • Checks the human resources drop box • Maintains the termination log and termination checks. • Updates name and address changes for terminated employees • Processes unemployment claims as needed • Coordinates file storage and retrieval with off-site storage company • Provides administrative support to all areas of human resources and performs other duties as assigned Non-Essential Functions: • Assists with training room reservations, class sign ups and the preparation of orientation packets • Assists with the collection and distribution of guest comment cards • Assists with employee events and recognition programs • Assists employees with obtaining or renewing required work cards JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/Requirements: • Bilingual in English and Spanish • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to communicate effectively in English • At least 21 and able to provide all documents required for work in the United States Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree • Working knowledge of Infinium and HR Logix Required Work Cards • Gaming Physical Requirements • Sitting at a desk (more than 75% of the time) • Standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching (less than 25% of the time) • Walking (less than 25% of the time) • Hearing, vision, speech, literacy (critical) Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
