Job Description: 1. Performs work in support of human resource professionals that requires a good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guides, and precedents; 2. Provides the public, managers and staff with specific, technical information concerning recruitment and hiring procedures of the government; 3. Advises supervisors and employees on regulations and procedures related to employee benefits; 4. Processes all personnel actions in the personnel computer system and forwards to State Human Resource division timely and accurately. Provides specialized, technical advice to managers and supervisors concerning recruitment and hiring of temporary employees. Requirements: 1. Must have at least 3 years direct experience as a Personnel Assistant 2. Must type at least 40 wpm; 3. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to quickly learn new software programs; 4.
