Construction Cost Estimator Responsibilities Include: • Candidate must be computer literate and trained in all Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) • Must have in-depth knowledge of Construction Specification Institute (CSI) division • Cost estimating project take-off, product research and pricing quantity take-off, and research pricing • Estimation and pricing of construction project and data input • Advanced knowledge of construction practices, terminology and procedures breakdown with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and Building System Format (BSF) • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and project specifications • Competency in estimating software (WinEst, MCACES MII, SUCCESS, Timberline) • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities • Ability to maintain organization in a rapidly changing environment • Initiative, responsibility, flexibility • Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machine, computer • Problem-solving capability • Ability to manage and develop subordinates • Association certifications requested • Projects include high profile, multi-million dollar national and international construction projects • Possible travel Education and Experience • Preferred – Bachelors degree in Construction MGT./Technologies, Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering • Required – 10 years experience in construction-related industry Please send your resume and a project list.
