Legal search firm is working with a dynamic and growing law firm. The firm offers both its clients and attorneys an alternative to the traditional large law firm model as well as to solo/small firm practice. For clients, it offers large law firm quality work at a fraction of large law firm rates. To attorneys, it offers the autonomy and flexibility of a solo or small firm practice, while providing many of the key areas of support available at a large law firm, all taking place in a collaborative/collegial firm culture that is strongly committed to creating joint-marketing and cross-selling opportunities among its attorneys. Specifically, here are many of the following value propositions the firm is able to offer: 1. An established platform for developing business. 2. The potential to generate revenues from originating work for attorneys in other practice areas at the firm. 3. The opportunity for joint-marketing/cross-selling with other attorneys in the firm (which the firm both encourages and facilitates). 4. Administrative support services, such as a receptionist, billing/invoicing, coverage under the firm's malpractice policy, maintenance of the firm's website and IT/telecom services, and access to low-cost legal assistant services. In return for these various benefits, compensation is from revenue generated through clients and attorneys share a fairly small percentage of the revenues they generate with the firm. The value propositions mentioned above are of potentially much higher value than the very low percentage of business revenue retained by the law firm. In general, the firm is seeking attorneys with at least 5-10K a month in business. However, for the right candidate, they would consider lesser amounts, if the attorney has strong business development potential if given some additional support. Requirements Successful candidates will have 4+ years of experience at a major law firm, strong academic credentials, current portable business, outstanding business development skills, and a strong desire to join and help lead a growing law firm with an entrepreneurial, collegial and collaborative firm culture.
