She's scared and a little skittish, but very acclimated to people. She likes to talk. I'm not sure she'd be very good in a home with other animals, as she is not taking well to my cats. I'm not sure how old she is, but she is small and it looks like she's somewhere between 1 and 3. I also can't be sure if she's fixed. Fall in love with Rita and Lori, two cute young guinea pigs in perfect health. Guinea pigs are a great choice in pet for young children and families/people that enjoy affectionate pets. They joyfully squeal in response to your voice and express their happiness by spontaneously hopping into the air, commonly known as popcorning. Though we don't know exactly how old they are, both fit in the palm of our hands when we got them. We purchased Lori (black and white) in late November. Rita (brown and white) is younger by a month. Their young age means that they'll be with you for a long, long time and that they are still trainable.
Rita is a bit calmer and bossier. We might be projecting humanoid characteristics in saying that she's more of the "big sister," because she seems annoyed by Rita's hyperactivity on occasion. I've been very sick since December and my doctor thinks I've developed an allergy to my 6y/o DSH cats - Frick and Frack. The doctor recommended that I foster them outside my home for a few weeks until I can get well and then bring them back and try to live in harmony with them again. I cannot take allergy meds due to the other meds I am currently on taxing my kidneys and liver. :(
At this point, I am not looking to give up or adopt out my cats. I am simply looking for someone who will give them someplace to live for the next few weeks while I get well. Once I get well, I will want them back and will readdress the situation. This is perfect if you are thinking about adopting a cat or two and want to try it out without the committment. We have two dogs available to new homes. Our Lab, Daisy is a spayed female and a rescue from down south. We have had her since July 2005. When she came home they estimated her age at 2.5. She is quite grey, but still very active and loving. Very healthy dog. She loves to run and play, swim and be outside. She has always been amazing with our three young children. Our Corgi, Dewey was born in Oct 2006, and is a red and white Pembroke Corgi. He is fixed. He is also great with children, and is very smart.

I have 8 parakeets that I've been fostering in a big flight cage. I'm at a point where I can't pay them enough attention and provide for all of their needs.
I'm looking for homes for some of my keets :( It makes me sad because they are all quite happy together, but they need more.
I would like to re-home them in pairs, but definitely NOT for breeding purposes. Most of them are young, around a year old. I think one pair is about 3 -4 years old.
Please let me know if you are interested. I do ask a small re-homing fee of $15/pair to make sure they are going to a good home.
