POSITION: Product Business Analyst
As Product Business Analyst, you will be charged with leading the development and maintenance of business requirements for new products and core product enhancements from concept to finished product. You will also be responsible for facilitating use of core product requirements in client implementation projects. The analyst will be a primary interface between the Product Marketing organization and the Development, Account Management and Operations groups.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of product requirements gathering and documentation across all product lines
Develop feature descriptions, user requirements and user scenarios for all product features
Gather consensus on product feature implementation strategies
Work directly with development team in system requirements development
Assist in product prototyping
Prepare product requirement deliverables to client implementation teams
Manage product release dashboard for each product release
Deliver high quality work product on-time
Work directly with the Product Manager to implement product development roadmap based on market demands
Play a significant role in the product change management process
Develop product training material
Execute client training
Demo CMCs FlexCollect solution to clients and partners
Develop business requirements as the basis for Development, Operations and other cross functional departments to build systems, procedures and materials to support product development and ongoing product enhancements.
Coordinate product roll-out schedules and process with all internal and external groups.
Support Account Management as product requirements subject matter expert
NEAR-TERM DELIVERABLES:
Document the content of both individual releases and new product functionality (development roadmap) so that development plans can be appropriately communicated, understood, and commented upon.
Document product capabilities such that users, prospects, and internal associates can easily learn not only what CMCs service does but also can see what it could do for them.
Update and maintain all current product user guides to allow clients to self-guide through product configuration and feature/function changes
Develop thorough training curriculum and guides for client training classes and train-the-trainer engagements
Create product demo script to facilitate new-hire ramp up and how best to demonstrate the how and WHY regarding a particular product feature
Document client-specific customizations and make recommendations on those that may be candidates for inclusion as part of the core product offering
Deliver production site documentation per Operations group to facilitate problem resolution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1-4 years of experience working with web technology product or project requirements.
Strong technical background in web-based business applications
Experience in financial services a plus. Collections experience, a significant plus.
Bachelors degree or greater required.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio
Experience with any requirements management applications a plus.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Self-starter, self-motivated
