Seasonal Position Description Position Title: Marketing Assistant Starting Wage Range: $12.00 to $15.00/hr DOE Plus $1.00 per hour Time Card Bonus Organizational Unit: Marketing Department Working Conditions: Monday - Friday, Averaging 16 – 24 hours a week, ½ hour lunch Occasional extended hours for special events. Vacation Restrictions: March 1 to September 30 Supervisor: Marketing Director Time Essential duties and responsibilities 75% Assist in design and marketing of various media Assist with website updates using HTML Assist with internet search engines updates and ad development Assist with print, internet and video advertising and general marketing operations Assist with proofing of all media materials 20% Assist in photography of motorhomes for use in various media Assist in production of video advertising Assist with preparation and production of special events 5% All other duties as assigned by management. Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 1 or more years of Marketing or Graphic Design experience required or equivalent combination of experienced education. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self starter, with ability to logically think through an assigned task or project. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to consistently present the business in a positive and upbeat style. Able to work closely with all levels of management and staff as well as alone. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to work under deadline pressure and work as needed to accomplish assigned tasks. Able to pay consistent attention to detail. Familiarity with computers as well as Windows Office Suites, Excel, Word. Familiar with Photoshop, Flash, HTML (Dreamweaver), InDesign, Illustrator, and have basic internet knowledge.
