Commission only – you create your own salary by selling ad contracts and one-time ads for AK Wellness and Healthy Yellow Pages 2010, which is the alternative health directory for the state of Alaska.. You must be aggressive with cold calling and approaching businesses about advertising. You must be able to work for yourself - a self-starter with strong planning skills, time management, personal organization and ability to work with deadlines. You need a passion for customer service and a strong work ethic. You must be dependable. It is a great job for a stay at home mom with professional skills. As an independent contract worker, you work from your own home office, and are responsible for your own expenses and taxes. You will receive a 1099 at years end and keep an excel file of all leads.
