Universal, a rapidly growing petroleum company, is currently hiring for a Government Sales Manager - Petroleum Industry in our New Castle, DE corporate office.

Essential Functions:
Meet and/or exceed all assigned sales goals and targets
Evaluate gasoline and diesel markets for potential new business
Responsible for lead generation
Follow-up on any/all referrals
Prepare all commercial, local, state, and government bids, as per guidelines for mgmt. approval and/or acceptance
Attend when requested any/all bid sessions as requiring company personnel
Recommend to management any/all potential new business
Make contact with key personnel and call upon potential new business on behalf of the company
Develop new business from existing customers and maintain current customer base
Work to satisfactorily resolve customer concerns
Coordinate and/all sales orders with delivery of products to all existing and new accounts
Work with other company departments when setting up or bringing on new business for the company
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Marketing preferred with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the petroleum industry. Must be results driven, able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization and work independently. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in supervising others to drive them to success.
