We are looking for an Operations Manager for our growing restoration business on the island of Maui in Hawaii. We specialize in the restoration of homes and commercial buildings that have damage from water, mold, fire and smoke. We do not do retail carpet cleaning. The primary duty of the Operations Manager is the management of the operations system including the activities of the Project Team Leader(s), Technicians, and all others who are involved in day-to-day field operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring and training the operations field personnel. Job requirements: • A positive, professional attitude and appearance and effective communications skills • Current certifications in water, mold, and fire remediation from IICRC, or equivalent industry certifications • Experience coordinating all activities associated with a property damage restoration project, including: o Working with insurance personnel (claim rep, adjuster, etc.) o Effectively communicating with customers o Following industry protocols for remediation o Applying structural drying techniques • Experience supervising remediation technicians and creating a teamwork environment • Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software is a BIG plus Job Duties: • Create and implement an Operations Plan • Meet operational goals (response time, invoice turnaround, gross profit, quality control, etc.) • Manage field operations (quality, site inspections, safety, etc.) • Recruit, hire, and train operations personnel • Coordinate job scheduling and work flow • Provide inspections and estimates as necessary • Manage equipment and supply needs • Create estimates and invoices using Xactimate software • Handle customer and insurance company issues as they arise Candidates will NOT be considered unless they have the appropriate certifications and experience.
