The Assistant is directly accountable to the Business Manager. The business office is a very busy place that requires a lot of multi-tasking and an extreme positive attitude. RESPONSIBILITIES The following items are in addition to specific tasks assigned by the Business Manager. • Human Resources – managing the flow of all the required paperwork associated with human resources, including processes required to satisfy the schools licensing requirements. • Purchasing and maintaining inventory and supplies – includes coordinating inventory and supply requirements from the whole school community. Weekly shopping trips, online purchasing and resourcing from outside vendors are all part of this process. • Maintaining all computers and printers – upkeep the security and perform general maintenance on all computers. Troubleshoot and repair computers as needed, when possible. Maintain a list of all computer equipment. • Safety Program -. update the safety manuals and supplies as needed, including the recording of fire drills. • Records retention – filing and proper storage of all business office records.
