Energy Solutions Sales Executive
Landover based Mechanical Contractor is looking for an experienced Energy Solution Sales Executive. This person will be responsible to develop new business with owners and contractors throughout the DC metropolitan area.
We are a successful design build mechanical contractor with in house engineering staff. We also work regularly with Energy Service Companies and wish to expand into areas they are not pursuing. We can profitably perform on smaller projects because we will self-perform the entire project.
Job Functions:
• Responsible for obtaining new business through energy solutions and energy services sales
• Develop own leads and prospects with complete responsibility of sales with minimum supervision
• Strategically understand marketplace/territory to successfully penetrate with ability to identify prospective opportunities and effectively communicate LFS Energy Solutions
• Understand prospect’s operation, business, structure, deficiencies and requirements
• Build partnering relationship at the Executive level with economic buyer, owner or owner representative responsible for the decision making process
• Communicate full scope of Energy Solutions capabilities to meet customer goals
• Use engineering resources for development of an opportunity and determination of energy savings
• Keep continuous sales funnel while maintaining business relationships to target new customers
• Coordinate project team efforts from qualification through completion of project to ensure customer expectation is exceeded
• Maintain and manage relationship with existing client base
Requirements:
• 5+ years of business to business field sales in the energy industry
• Technical knowledge of building systems, energy solutions or related experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business desired
