Quartermaine Coffee Roasters is looking for an “A player” Retail Manager to manage our flagship retail store on Bethesda Ave. in Bethesda, Md. The successful candidate is a truly outstanding individual by being “best of class” - in the top 10 percent of all applicants with a minimum of 2 years quick service or retail management experience. This person embraces our philosophy of creating a customer “community” within our store, fosters a high level of friendly, personable customer service and is dedicated to consistently excellent product quality in coffee beans, tea, bar beverages and pastries. The Store Manager provides the leadership, direction and communication necessary to achieve retail budgets and operating plan goals. Pro-actively demonstrates sound financial and retail management practices and maintains a positive and productive work and shopping environment within the store. In addition to a successful history increasing sales and controlling costs, our ideal candidate has excellent verbal communication and customer service skills and the proven ability to hire, train and motivate staff.
