Below if a brief description of the position: Role: Sous Chef This position reports to the Chef Manager. This person will be responsible for the entire Retail Culinary operation at a College or University. The Chef position is responsible production, menu compliance, daily operation as well as safety and sanitation. Specific responsibilities include: maintaining and upgrading quality standards and production levels, promoting safety and sanitation, inspections of kitchen areas and employees for proper sanitation, training and hiring of all associates, and maintaining budgeted labor and food cost. Always ensuring that the Standards of Excellence, as determined by the University and Thompson Hospitality are met.
