Senior Financial Analyst needed for a short-term contract position to write queries and reports and gather requirements to determine what the business needs from BW. * Apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to maximize the application of SAP. * Assess detailed business requirements for operational, analytic and executive reporting. * Partner with business groups and advise on: - What the BW can do for the business group - What is reasonable based on the business need and BW capabilities - How can new business processes leverage existing BW functionality EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE /SKILLS * Accounting or Finance degree required along with 3-7 years of Finance, Business Systems Analysis, or Accounting experience * Strong understanding of SAP and business warehouse (BW) required * Understanding of how the tools and end user techniques of the SAP application areas are applied to the business process to provide effective training and communications * Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good interpersonal skills to assist with communications with Accounting, IT and Business staff and their management who are working under tight deadlines and considerable pressure * Must be deadline and project-oriented with strong organizational skills, in addition to having the ability to multi-task * Previous experience within large scale projects, working with internal and external partners * Strong customer focus and team oriented Location: SW Portland Compensation: $29-33/ hour Principals only.
