Unitus Community Credit Union currently has an opportunity Financial Advisor Assistant. Primary focuses will include scheduling appointments for a Financial Advisor, answering client calls and calls from a fund company, preparing for and assisting with meetings, notating client transactions and filing. Qualified applicants will possess the following combination of skills and experience: • Basic knowledge of IRA’s, 401(k)’s and other investments • 1-3 years of clerical experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through strong composition, grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading abilities. • Ability to multi-task, with solid organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships by demonstrating punctuality, courtesy, tact, thoroughness, and professionalism in all interactions with employees, members, prospective members and vendors. Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality with all member-related information. • Willingness to travel locally occasionally and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation available for use in accomplishing job requirements. • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite) • Prior experience working in a financial institution a plus, but not required The successful candidate will work approximately 32 hours per week, including at least eight hours on Mondays. There is a possibility that the position may become full-time at some point, but it is not guaranteed to do so.
