DISPENSARY NURSE, LPN or RN (Part Time) This is a part-time benefits-eligible position for our busy Dispensary located at our Portland Recovery Center in close-in east Portland. The pay is $22-27 per hour, depending on LPN or RN licensure. Early day shift with no overtime. CODA provides both a generous benefits package and excellent training benefits. The job is 20-28 hours per week; the schedule is somewhat variable but typically Mon – Fri 5 am to 1pm and Sat 7 am to 1 pm. DUTIES INCLUDE: Daily assessment of alcohol & drug-dependent clients. Administer non-injectable methadone and other medications as prescribed by the staff physician. Interaction with and transcription of staff physician’s orders. Accurate maintenance of medication. Observe and report any adverse client reaction. Provision of general nursing services to dual-diagnosis clients, pregnant clients, and others as needed. Provide timely and accurate clinical documentation and records. TO QUALIFY: 1. Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered Oregon license as a LPN or RN. 2. Prior relevant work experience is required. 3. Customer service skills are required. 4. Recent relevant computer skills are necessary. Electronic medical record experience is a plus. 5. Applicants must undergo a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Must not be on supervised parole or probation.
