This full-time, non-exempt, union-eligible position is located at CODA's Gresham recovery center. We have 2 openings in our men’s group. The pay is $9.07per hour, going to $9.62 in 6 months with full benefits and training opportunities. Swing and night shifts. DUTIES INCLUDE: Perform a variety of service-oriented and clerical duties. Monitor the mental and physical conditions of patients, reporting concerns. Monitor and assist patients with daily schedule and medications. Assist with ordering of supplies. Assist with client-run community meetings, and conduct new resident orientation. Maintain progress notes. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally, perform CPR for 15 minutes continuously, negotiate staircase, reach, handle, write, observe, and exchange information. Direct exposure to clients in working environment. TO QUALIFY: 1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Must have additional studies, training, or work experience in substance abuse or detoxification treatment. 3. Must be able to communicate in English and have basic writing and interpersonal abilities. We prefer strong oral and written communications skills and/or bilingual capability. 4. Individuals who are currently under a federal, state, or county parole or probation are ineligible for this position.
