Hey there peeps..... I'm looking for a new place to call home beginning by July 5th in inner SE Portland or thereabouts. I'd like to find a cool laid back cozy place to spend the awesome Portland summer and probably longer if its a good fit. I'm staying with friends after moving out a of long term sublet so I'm ready to find a sweet place. A little about me.........well I'm a friendly laid back kind of guy who gets along well with almost everyone. The work I do represents my passion and involves offering low cost informal counseling services to the community in coffee shops, parks and people's homes. I'm a counselor that does house calls ;) Working with people is my passion. In addition to counseling work I am also a writer focusing on things like mental health, psychology, spirituality, politics and other things. I consider my work very much heart based and creative. I'm a person that finds a great deal of meaning in life and I enjoy it very much. Spirituality is important to me as well and I meditate and do yoga daily but don't subscribe to any organized religion. You could say I'm a bit of an activist when it comes to health, spirituality and society and am active in working to bring about a more conscious compassionate society. Some of my other interests include many of the usual things like music (ah music all kinds of music), dance (mainly ecstatic and trance), the occasional drink (beer and wine mostly), the occasional puff (green), alternative medicine, gardening, zine making, sustainability, PDX coffee shops (for work and connection and awesome coffee), art, consciousness, connection and community and quite a bit more. Basically I'd like to find a place with somewhat like-minded people who are pursuing their own paths passionately and are into some connection and community. I have very little stuff so only really need a small space. I am mostly vegetarian, never eat any meat at home and eat it only rarely. I don't watch TV either or own a car if that matters. A place with a good connected community vibe would be great, with open communication and a balance of connection and personal space. I really like living with people, its always a unique experience.
