The Adecco branch in Elkton, MD is currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include ensuring that productivity goals are achieved and setting direction for the team to accomplish these goals. This position is the principle link between all levels of management for the daily operations under their area of responsibility. Will ensure that company policies, quality procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) including HACCP, SSOP, QCDSM are implemented and understood - followed by associates. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing/production management work experience. Minimum 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience, manufacturing environment preferred. Minimum 1 year experience with quality performance, cost, service and safety programs. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed. Strong computer skills; MS office, SAP exp a plus. Ability to travel for training as needed. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required. Strong desire to train and coach others to improve performance.
