GC3 Specialty Chemicals, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced power plant chemist to monitor and maintain water quality at a customer site in the Northern Delaware/Philadelphia area. We are looking for an independent, self-reliant person with knowledge of clarifier chemical treatment, high pressure boiler chemistry, and cooling water chemistry. Candidates should be proficient at industrial water lab work and chemistry testing, and be comfortable generating reports with MS Word and Excel. The most important aspect of the job is to maintain customer satisfaction through regular service visits, chemistry testing, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be the type of person who will analyze customer processes, and make recommendations to improve performance, increase reliability, or reduce costs. Although this posting is listed as a part time position, for the right candidate we can create a full-time position. A four-year technical degree or a minimum of two years experience with water chemistry testing in industrial, municipal, or electric utility water systems is required.
