Quality Control Inspector (Part time) Here’s a challenging opportunity for an experienced quality inspector to contribute to the ongoing growth of a stable employer! Delmaco Manufacturing Inc. is a successful small high growth company located just minutes from the beautiful shores of Rehoboth Beach, DE. and Ocean City, MD. We manufacture static grounding and bonding reels for aircraft, ground vehicles, military equipment and other applications. We also manufacture a wide variety of commercial spring reel assemblies for counterbalance and retraction applications. We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to work closely with the Asst. General Manager. In this newly created role, you’ll have the opportunity to improve the quality management system and ensure product conformity quality standards and objectives are being met. You’ll use your quality expertise to: • Develop processes and controls to assure compliance with internal workmanship standards and customer specifications • Perform quality requirement reviews of customer orders and specifications • Provide preventative and corrective action reporting and recommendations for internal and external quality problems • Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and inspection equipment and processes • Review technical problems and procedures, and recommend solutions to problems or changes in production procedures to ensure product conformity • Record, evaluate, and report quality data into computer manufacturing system • Collect and trend complaint data and prepare monthly quality report • Provide internal quality audits and training for continuous improvement Requirements: Requires minimum of 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in metals manufacturing or related industries, along with strong mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated related skills and experience using mechanical blueprints, measurement, and measuring instruments including micrometers, gauges, calipers, and optical comparators is also required. Ideal candidates will have experience with quality management software, and good verbal and written communication skills.
