Duties & Responsibilities: Employee will be responsible for the administration and operation of a Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment facility with a dual sand filter system for final phosphorus reduction, and for obtaining required permits related to the operation of the wastewater treatment plant and required to comply with all requirements of the current IDEQ land-application and USEPA NPDES permits. Employee will also be responsible for the operation of the sanitary septic system and will be required to determine and implement annual operations budgets and submit daily operations reports to the Plant Manager. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical journals, reports, documents and legal requirements. Qualifications/Education: Must possess a Class 4 Wastewater Operator license for the State of Idaho, or able to obtain within one year. Associates Degree in an Environmental-related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years work experience in wastewater management, preferably with waste activated sludge. Minimum of four years of wastewater operations experience in a Class 3 or 4 wastewater facility. Thorough knowledge of Windows programs, including Word and Excel and a minimum of two years experience supervising wastewater operations personnel.
