As a Sanitation lead, your responsibilities and duties include: Understand and help communicate company Policies and Safety procedures. Train, motivate and lead sanitation crew. Handle the cleaning of all equipment and facilities. Assure all cleaning is of the highest quality to prevent possible contamination. Optimize Sanitation performance. General Cleaning. Keeping area free from debris and clutter. Hand scrubbing of equipment and general cleaning. Must be able to work with corrosive chemicals. Assure proper documentation of all production. Must follow all established rules and guidelines as set by the Company. Assure that signing of SSOP’s take place. Assist and complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities: As a Sanitation worker, your time is spent cleaning and helping assure that all of company policies and procedures are being followed. The Sanitation worker will give general reporting of operations throughout the shift. All safety procedures and policies need to be demonstrated by the Sanitation worker. Individual performance may be measured in the following categories: safety, knowledge of work, quantity of work, leadership, ability to learn, interpersonal relationships, initiative, attendance and punctuality. Physical Activities and Requirements: Reading, writing, basic arithmetic, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motions.
