ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Material tracking & data entry Responsible for all areas of Inventory Control in a “just in time” environment Monitoring on hand status of all items ensuring minimum inventory levels are maintained Perform cycle counts on schedule Reconcile cycle counts to ensure data is accurate and reflects physical inventory Use structured, disciplined problem solving techniques to identify root causes of all variances Investigate work orders, pick tickets, BOLs, purchase orders & item receipts to identify root causes of variances Issue action plans to management with recommendations on eliminating root causes Communicate all concerns & issues to management Plan & implement annual physical inventory count Assist with physical inventory count as needed Experience with Inventory Control for a multi-million dollar company Manufacturing experience a plus GENERAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years Inventory Control Experience Required Strong, Accurate Data Entry Skills Strong math skills Strong analytical & problem solving skills Strong communication skills both written & verbal Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS – this person is a representative of the company and must be able to conduct themselves in a courteous & professional manner COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel required Peachtree Quantum preferred but not required ALL CANDIDATES INTERVIEWING FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE GIVEN AN INVENTORY CONTROL SKILLS TEST We view our employees as our most valuable resource.
