Summary We are currently seeking a Materials Control Supervisor to perform functions associated with internal logistics of supply and distribution of materials within a manufacturing and customer service environment. Job Summary: Supervise, direct, and delegate workload and responsibilities to department personnel to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations. Essential Duties AND Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of material to production and customer service • Ensure all material is stocked promptly and accurately • Interact with all departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, and other functions within the organization • Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and process improvements • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility • Promote continual improvements in material movement, inventory accuracy, safety, and employee development • Perform root-cause analysis on supply and demand issues • Develop, monitor, and analyze department metrics to achieve optimal productivity • Perform other duties as required Training AND/OR Experience: • Five years supervisor experience, manufacturing environment preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a team • Experience using MAPICS,SAP,ORACLE, or other ERP systems required • Excellent communication skills • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Knowledge of lean principles • Ability to travel domestic and international Education: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience Physical Requirements: • Lifting up to 50 lbs required Interested applicants please email your resume to jobs@ballytech.com Location: Las Vegas, NV 89119 Compensation: DOE Principals only.
