The position description is as follows:
Supervise the activities and duties of the Material Handlers. Oversee receiving
of material and processing paperwork. Ensure accurate delivery of material to
production and customer service. Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Experience using Logistic ERP
systems.
Job Summary:
The person in this position ensures the integrity of the Manufacturing Order
System, the proper implementation of Engineering Change Notices, and the
accuracy of the serial number tracking system. Supervises Production Control
Analyst and Production Control Data Entry Clerk
Essential Duties AND Responsibilities:
Reviews and maintains Manufacturing Orders Audits Manufacturing Order
System to ensure smooth and proper data flow Generates parts picks based on
production schedule to ensure a constant flow of material Interfaces with Master
Scheduler and Materials Department to ensure production dates are achieved
Maintains file of Engineering Change Notices Responsible for the accuracy and
maintenance of the Model Specifications File
Requirements:
Training AND/OR Experience:
Five years supervisor experience, manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a team Strong working
knowledge of MRP MAPICS experience preferred Excellent communication skills
Computer literate Analytical Skills
Education:
Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
