Job Summary: The person in this position is responsible for directing and coordinating all field service activities. Ensures all service departments have the manpower and equipment to accomplish assigned tasks Essential Duties AND Responsibilities: • Monitors all field service activities to ensure customer satisfaction • Assigns Field Service Managers in all remote field offices • Using Field Service Managers’ reports and service logs, directs problem areas to the proper departments for resolution • Administers and manages department budgets • Follows up with customers to provide information and resolutions to problems • Administers training program for internal and external customers • Trains Field Service Managers to become certified instructors on Bally Gaming devices • Monitors service response time in all jurisdictions • Investigates all warranty repairs on products to assess trends; reports these to appropriate departments • Monitors overtime reports for all jurisdictions to ensure proper utilization of assigned personnel • Analyzes future work load requirements to include, but not limited to, adding or deleting participation games, number of conversions handled to optimize play, average number of service calls per day in each jurisdiction, forecasted sales, etc. • Works closely with all Field Service Managers to ensure the proper utilization of personnel and equipment • Reviews quarterly external surveys to spot trends and/or problem areas and defines action plans to proactively overcome them. • Liaisons with Sales Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors to insure alignment of company activities and planning Training AND/OR Experience: • Ten years experience in a managerial role with five years in the gaming industry • Training and/or experience with computer database technology • Electronics training and/or experience with emphasis on manufacturing and service techniques Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: • Ability to communicate effectively and decisively with customers and assigned personnel • Strong organizational skills Education: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred Physical Requirements: Sedentary Location: Las Vegas, NV 89119 Compensation: DOE Principals only.
