Summary We are currently seeking a Materials Control Supervisor to perform functions associated with internal logistics of supply and distribution of materials within a manufacturing and customer service environment. Duties Supervise, direct, and delegate workload and responsibilities to department personnel to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations. Essential Duties AND Responsibilities: · Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of material to production and customer service · Ensure all material is stocked promptly and accurately · Interact with all departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, and other functions within the organization · Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and process improvements · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility · Promote continual improvements in material movement, inventory accuracy, safety, and employee development · Perform root-cause analysis on supply and demand issues · Develop, monitor, and analyze department metrics to achieve optimal productivity · Perform other duties as required Training AND/OR Experience: • Five years supervisor experience, manufacturing environment preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: · Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a team · Experience using MAPICS,SAP,ORACLE, or other ERP systems required · Excellent communication skills · Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project · Knowledge of lean principles · Ability to travel domestic and international Education: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience Physical Requirements: · Lifting up to 50 lbs required Location: Las Vegas, NV 89119 Compensation: DOE Principals only.
