Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Technician J & J Staffing has an immediate opening for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Technician. Primary job responsibilities for this Electronic/Mechanical Assembler will include performing all functions associated with manufacturing operations including hand assembly, soldering, mechanical assembly, and performing any related rework on electro-mechanical assemblies. Major Job Duties include: • Builds electrical and mechanical assemblies per set procedures • Tests electrical and mechanical assemblies per set procedures • Collects and interprets test data • Follows manufacturing best practices • Keeps the assembly and test area clean and organized • Troubleshoot and repair to the component level both mechanical and electrical assemblies Job Qualifications: • Experience as a technician or as a production line assembler • Experience in the soldering of either SMT or thru hole (IPC training a plus) • Able to interpret and work from diagrams, drawings and schematics • Able to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters • High School Diploma or GED • Must possess good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
