The Prince William Sound Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council (PWSRCAC) seeks a dynamic Executive Director to provide leadership to accomplish the mission of promoting environmentally safe operation of the Alyeska terminal and associated tankers. Responsibilities include building partnerships with the oil industry, regulators and other stakeholders; strategic planning; supporting a diverse 19 member board of directors; managing a staff of 18 in Valdez and Anchorage; and overseeing an annual budget of about three million dollars. The position is located in Valdez, Alaska with 25 to 35 percent time spent each quarter working in the Anchorage PWSRCAC office. Valdez is home to the terminus of the Trans Alaska Pipeline.
