YOUTH DYNAMICS of BOZEMAN is hiring individuals for our Family Support Assistant (FSA) program. FSAs work one-on-one in a therapeutic relationship with emotionally disturbed youth in the community setting. Family Support Assistants act as therapeutic mentors, providing youth with a solid connection to an adult who will facilitate the youth’s growth in individualized goals. We take a team approach to the treatment of each youth and FSAs are an important part of this cooperation and coordination. FSAs must have two years of education and/or experience in working with emotionally disturbed youth in the human services field. We prefer candidates who are dependable, possess strong interpersonal skills, have a positive attitude and a passion for working with youth. While youth of all ages are available, we are particularly looking for FSA applicants interested in working with teenage youth. This position is casual, part-time and does not include benefit eligibility. The hours are flexible, usually ranging between 6-10 hours per week with each youth, and up to 30 hours total for multiple youth matches. The rate of pay is $9.10 per hour, plus mileage and activity reimbursement (when applicable).
