We are searching for an in-home summer French tutor/ teacher for our 4-year-old twin daughters. Our regular tutor is away for the summer and we want to continue our weekly French instruction. This is perfect for a college student home for the summer, exchange student, or teacher! We prefer a native speaker from France, however we will consider someone else who has mastered the language. Our tutor would be asked to work with the girls at a preschool/early elementary level in spoken language only (no reading or writing at this time). This will be largely comprised of vocabulary, phrases, and songs. Our French tutor should be able to demonstrate that she has worked with young children and is able to teach in a fun, interesting way for this age. We are looking for a 1-hour lesson each week in our Centreville, VA, home on either Tuesday or Thursday morning. We need someone ASAP. We will pay a flat weekly rate to include the lesson, tutor’s travel, and tutor’s preparation time. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.
