We have a challenging opportunity for an experienced, resourceful engineer to manage projects in the design and deployment of our ecological wastewater treatment system. We are a fast growing company based in Charlottesville, Virginia introducing breakthrough, environmentally sustainable technologies in the water purification and wastewater treatment industries.
Ideal candidates will possess a B.S. in civil or environmental engineering or another relevant engineering discipline and 5+ years responsible charge experience in design and regulatory permitting of small-scale, decentralized wastewater treatment systems. The successful candidate will possess strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to work as part of a team of professionals are also a must. Experience in hydraulic design and equipment, natural ecosystems, and wastewater treatment regulations are very desirable. Hands-on capability in deploying and troubleshooting water and wastewater technologies would also be beneficial.
The job will involve leading a project team and interfacing with clients throughout the entire design-build cycle from preparing engineering calculations and permit documents to overseeing equipment installation and startup.
