BASIC FUNCTION: The Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service for the guest and having good knowledge of the product. They are also responsible for pre-bussing , cleaning and resetting of tables. Maintaining cleanliness of all restaurants. We have opportunities in our Tavern Restaurant, fine dining restauarant and member only clubhouse restaurant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes but not limited to the following) 1.Interact with guests to take drink and food orders. 2.Communicate with kitchen for food ordering. 3.Ensure prompt delivery of food to the guest’s table. 4.Have working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and food that is served at the Resort. Suggest pairings of food to wine or beer. 5.Handle all checks and cash according to Resort procedures and in timely manner 6.Ensure cleanliness of restaurant including polished flatware, clean glassware and plates. 7.Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants. 8.Pre-bus whenever possible 9.Always a team player 10.Always up sell 11.Suggest appetizer ( soup or salad) 12.2 minute check back with each course 13.Suggest coffee and dessert MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. 2.Help out in other areas of the restaurant, including seating guests. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE High volume experience. Good food and service knowledge. Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills. 18 years or older.
