Manufacturing plant in Sterling is seeking a Mechanical Driller Operator. Scope: A mechanical drill operator operates various department equipment used to include start-up, operation, preventive maintenance and quality. Download programs to run jobs on machines. Responsible for all aspects of drilling including operate drilling equipment. Drill double-sided, Multi-layers counter bore, counter sink, and control depth drilling. Also operates machine for panel optimization and operates x-ray machine to analyze registration. Responsible for quality checks, preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Essential Knowledge and Skills: „X Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to accomplish the job „X Ability to stand throughout the shift „X Ability to lift 30 pounds without straining Education and Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment a must Minimum 2 years experience with CNC drilling in the printed circuit board industry or any similar related industry skills A working knowledge of drilling equipment such as Excellon Machines and X-Ray Registration Systems such as The Pluritech is helpful Able to read and interrupt blueprints High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Shift is 3rd shift position, potential long term employment 3rd shift (midnight to 8:30am) 10.35/hr to start Please submit resumes to: rva4@sparkshr.com or fax to 703-620-2968 Location: Dulles, VA Compensation: 10.35/hr This is a contract job.
