Job Responsibilities:
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
take and relay messages
provide information to callers
greet persons entering organization
direct persons to correct destination
ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
general administrative and clerical support
prepare letters and documents
receive and sort mail and deliveries
schedule appointments
maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
tidy and maintain the reception area
Professional appearance is essential and enjoys working with people and possesses friendly and outgoing personality. Confidential, enthusiastic and possess excellent customer service skills and be able to handle customer questions and concerns professionally and courteously with the ability to interact and communicate in a positive, professional and multi-tasking manner is important. Accurate and timely completion of work. Ability to quickly identify essential elements. Good human relations skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Minimum requirements
High School graduate with one year of experience in clerical work or any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience for Receptionist; additionally, one to three years experience for Secretary/Receptionist .Knowledge of core MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
