Seeking a business-minded individual with strong analytical skills to investigate business systems, identify opportunities,and create IT solutions to meet business needs. Will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to processes, policies and information systems. Must be able to develop and maintain clear and concise analysis documentation for complex projects including process flow diagrams, detailed use cases, and activity diagrams. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts. May be required to provide work samples of analysis artifacts such as state diagrams, use cases, UI prototypes, relationship diagrams, and/or data dictionaries.
Additional Responsibilities:
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
Reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
Distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Investigate business systems, identify options for improving business systems and bridge the needs of the business with the use of information technology.
Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to processes, policies and information systems.
Complete analysis to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and works with the IT team to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts and to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
Ability to understand the needs of the business as a whole and it’s strategic direction
Ability to elicit and specify complex requirements at the correct level of detail to allow successful implementation
Ability to develop and maintain clear and concise analysis documentation for complex projects including process flow diagrams, detailed use cases and activity diagrams
Ability to perform solution assessment and validation by verifying the correctness of a proposed solution, assessing possible shortcomings and supporting implementation
Demonstrated experience in the vendor selection process to include preparation and evaluation of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Ability to take broad directions and prioritize and accomplish a wide range of tasks without the necessity for detailed directions
Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in a demanding work environment and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Excellent time management skills to plan, organize, and manage complex projects
Demonstrated development and maintenance of a variety of analysis documentation artifacts
Able to provide work samples that include analysis artifacts such as state diagrams, use cases, UI prototypes, relationship diagrams, and data dictionaries
