We are looking for a part-time person (with potential to become full-time) with previous and extensive activity / tour reservations experience. Personal knowledge of Oahu tour operators is REQUIRED. Knowledge of Maui, Kauai, and Big Island helpful. You must provide a quiet home office environment for accepting incoming client calls which is free of distractions and background noise, as well as a fast, reliable internet connection. You must be available to work initially on Saturday and Sunday. The position is primarily customer service for those planning Hawaii vacations; with a secondary emphasis on networking with Oahu tour operators. This is a computer-based job and requires someone who is tech-savy and comfortable working in Microsoft Windows and related software applications. We need someone who is friendly, detailed, accurate, and is a long-term Hawaii resident. We require a drug-free individual. Some travel to other islands may occassionally be required. Starting pay is $12-15 per hour part-time, with the potential to turn into a full-time position paying $40,000+ per year.
