Intercultural Communications College (ICC) is seeking instructors for two University Bridge Program elective courses. Both are 3-credit Upper Iowa University courses from July 20 – October 9, 2009 at the ICC campus, 1601 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu. 1. Sociology 110 - Principles of Sociology. Classes meet four hours per week plus up to four additional hours of curricular excursions per week. Class days and time are negotiable in the early or late afternoons. All of the students are international with English as a second language. Desirable qualifications: M.A. in Sociology with ESL experience, preferably abroad. Provides student-centered classes with an emphasis on discovery-based, experiential learning. 2. Music 100 – Introduction to Music. Classes meet four hours per week plus up to four additional hours of curricular excursions per week. Class days and time are negotiable in the early or late afternoons.
