Position is equivalent to: GS-11 Brief job description: Provide construction oversight support to include inspection and construction management - Provides engineering technical support including cost estimating, scope of work development and drafting for contract modifications - Assistance in Validating Contractor Invoices - Maintains accurate project files - Provide in-house design of designated Local SRM Projects - shall have a minimum of 2 years practical experience in construction oversight and drafting with AutoCADD, and be familiar with a Geographic Information System (GIS). Shall have a broad knowledge of Engineering, Construction and the requirements associated with constructing projects. - They shall be physically able to climb ladders, crawl, and able to observe areas in confined places to conduct inspections. Working knowledge of • Federal, DoD, construction management regulations • Army/CoE, National Guard and Air National Guard Engineering regulations • Engineering technical orders and instructions • Agency standard operating procedures and safety issues is highly desired. Must be able to operate a computer and prepare documentation using Microsoft Word processing, MS Excel, and AutoCADD.
