(Must be able to interview in person in Hawaii) Environmental Consulting firm in Honolulu is searching for an Environmental Project Manager. Responsibilities include; manage and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects, interact with the clients, manage schedules and budgets, train and supervise project staff, supervise subcontracted workers, prepare or supervise creating proposals for future work, assist with marketing with new and existing clients. Candidate must have min 5 plus years experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects and supervising scientific staffs. Strong technical skills are a must. Experience on US Government/DOD projects is preferred. Candidates must have a BS degree in Environmental Engineering or Science and 40 Hr HAZWOPPER training are required. Construction Management degree, MS degree and/or Professional Registration are preferred. Hawaii work experience is preferred. (Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship) Project Manager must have 5-10 years environmental experience with a minimum of 5 years hands on PM experience. Must have knowledge of current industry-standard sampling methods, data quality and data management. Must be able to work independently as a technical lead As a Project Manager, you must be hands on, understand all the above and be able to make decisions independently.
