OVERVIEW We are seeking a Junior Estimator/Business Development Assistant to support the business development and marketing efforts of the Hawaii Division. The estimator/business development assistant will be responsible for supporting the development of multiple proposals, RFQ and RFP documents simultaneously and will ensure top quality, timely completion, and responsiveness to client needs. They will also assist with researching marketing collateral. This position will be based out of Honolulu, Hawaii and will report to the Regional Business Development Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES -Maintain and update Deltek Vision database, managing companies, contacts, leads and proposals. -Write and edit proposal documents, project summaries, experience sections, and presentations; may write and edit technical approaches and other sections as needed. -Coordinate with internal staff (engineers, architects and project managers) and clients to coordinate proposal materials and qualifications packages. -Work with project managers and field staff in the development of long term client relationships with existing clients. -Assist with preparation and execution of tradeshows. -Assists with the development of RFPs and RFQs. -Coordinate the distribution of marketing collateral for potential clients. -Assists with the scheduling of presentations, seminars, client interviews, etc. -Provide additional support as needed to develop new and repeat business. QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred. -2- 3 years + experience working as an Estimator in the A/E/C industry. -Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office. -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. -Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. -Must have ability to organize, prioritize and multitask. -Attention to detail is extremely important.
