Licensed Mechanical Engineer Honolulu based solar company seeks Mechanical Engineer to provide design for solar fueled power generation, absorption chiller, and process heat systems. Responsibilities will include: 1. Evaluation of customer demand 2. Complete design of energy and HX systems 3. Piping System Design 4. Interaction w/ designers of thermal engines and thermally-driven AC systems 5. Interaction w/ designers of controls systems 6. Cost estimation 7. Construction project consultation 8. System Optimization Desired experience: 1. 5 years in HVAC and piping design 2. Design and operations with thermally driven chillers (absorption & desiccant) 3. Design and operations with thermally driven power generators (ORC & steam turbines) 4. Drafting skills in AutoCAD and Solidworks 5. Licensed engineer Excellent Benefits. Salary depends on experience.
