The neighborhood: Located in Palolo valley off of 10th Avenue. Nearby grocery stores include; Tamuras (just down the street), Longs & Times (1-2 mi), Foodland (2-3 mi.), and a neighborhood convenience store nearby. House is located about 3 miles from UH, and about 5 miles from downtown. Bus runs down 9th street (#9 to downtown/Pearl Harbor), and Waialae (#1 and others). Most of the neighbors are elderly, so the house is very quiet and peaceful.
The house: Share the house with two professional females. House has three bedrooms, one bathroom, plenty of street parking, full kitchen (no dishwasher), washer/dryer, BBQ, cool yard, plenty of storage space. The living room is sparsely furnished (has a view of Waikiki), and the kitchen is outfitted nicely. There is also roadrunner internet connection and basic cable tv.
The room: is 11 x 13, a large closet, and has a view of Waikiki.
The rent will be $700 with a $200 deposit, month to month which includes all utilities.
We are looking to share the house with someone who is kind, honest, responsible, quiet, and has common sense respect for the house, and the neighborhood. Someone who will clean up after themselves and help with normal household chores and help out occasionally with yard work. We are only looking to rent to one person, no couples, or constant overnighters. While the rent is month to month, we want someone who will stay over 6 months. This is home is friendly to alcohol in moderation, but NO drugs.
Please send us an email telling us about yourself, including information such as:
1. where you work and your hours,
2. if you are a student,
3. why you are looking for a place to live, (where are you from?)
4. how long you want to rent the room for,
5. if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend,
6. what are your habits,
7. what you like to do in your spare time,
8. are you vegetarian (I'm not...)
9. and your age.
We look forward to meeting you! Please email me for more information and photos of the room!
Thanks!
