- Ensures the most efficient and effective support is provided to the DCG and the Command Group in the execution of their responsibilities. - Professionally respond to telephone calls, messages, short-fused taskers, and daily details of the DCG's travel and office itineraries. - Manage the operational schedule of the DCG and maintain the DCG's long-range calendar. - Exercises control over the DCG's appointments with authority for commitment of time. Deconflict schedule redundancies and forecast recurring requirements. - Works closely with other elements of the Command Group and HQ staff and installation points of contact in scheduling and coordinating all visits, meetings, and itineraries. - Develops read aheads, schedules pre-briefs, and. answers specific questions pertaining to events and activities involving the DCG. - Plans, schedules, and directs arrangements for activities hosted by the DCG. - Arrange ground transportation, accommodations, office calls, briefings, and socials. - Research and draft large volume of correspondence to meet critical schedules of the Command Group. - Compose correspondence using correct format, spelling, and grammar. - Maintain and ensure quality control of sensitive files and correspondence. - Receive and respond to telephone, electronic, and personal inquiries pertaining to confidential and sensitive topics.
