Looking for a Customer Service Posting Specialist The Posting Specialist receives and post payments from commercial insurance carriers who should have been billed as the primary payer to Medicaid. When insurance carriers or Medicaid providers submit these recoveries, the recoveries must be verified with backup documentation and entered into the MMIS within a set time limit. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and familiarity with scanning and faxing is necessary for this position. This position requires excellent customer service, communication, and follow-up skills. Duties: -Research recoveries received using the MMIS and AR system -Determine if additional information is needed before the recoveries can be posted to MMIS -Follow up with insurance carriers by telephone -Ensure all backup documentation has been collected by carriers or providers -Track the status of all recoveries within each deposit to ensure all work is completed prior to MMIS posting -Perform QA on work -Other duties as assigned Other Requirements: -Ability to meet deadlines -Ability to communicate honestly yet tactfully -Demonstrate good interpersonal skills -Demonstrate the ability to work well with others -Experience with Medicaid and Medicare preferred -Previous experience in the medical field required -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office -Must be able to type 45+ wpm -Have the ability and willingness to accept training -Have the ability to apply skills learned in training -Must be willing to share job knowledge, skills, and ideas Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Pay: $9.50/hr Position Available Immediately .
