The candidate will need to provide a cordial & welcoming response to everyone who comes into the church office or calls on the phone. They must be very proficient in Word, Excel, Email communication, Publisher and knowledge of Power Church will be extremely helpful. The candidate must be able to use Publisher to complete 2 weekly bulletins for Sunday church service & will also be responsible for a monthly newsletter which is also prepared using Publisher. This is a multi-tasking job with many interruptions; the church secretary is the "hub" of the church with a variety of individuals calling with questions or providing information necessary for the weekly bulletins & monthly newsletter. The individual is also be responsible for scheduling outside groups as well as church member functions for the various areas that we rent out in our church.
