The Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacists needs a part-time, independent contractor Executive Director. The job duties include the day to day office administrative and management functions, membership data administration, logistical support for meetings, programs, and operations, financial management and accounting, grant writing/fundraising for meetings, ACPE administration for CE programs, website administration, liaison with other pharmacy organizations, and some travel. The position does not need to be filled by a pharmacist, but we would like to hire somebody who is generally familiar with ISHP activities, pharmacy and association management services. The time commitment varies from day to day and month to month, depending on ISHP activities. After one learns the position, the time commitment should average 10-15 hours per week generally, and up to 40+ hours per week for 4-6 weeks around Spring meeting (March/April) and for 6-8 weeks around Fall Meeting (September/October). Our current budget allows compensation of $26-28,000.00 per year, plus office & travel expenses. A bonus is also available for fundraising successes.
